NYC Tweetup

Huh? What is a tweetup? Is this some new kind of coming attraction? Well, yes, it is.

For the uninitiated, a tweetup (short for Twitter meetup) is a real, physical gathering of people who arrive at the meeting location as the result of the twitterers they're following. It's a chance for people who typically connect in 140 character bursts to actually meet and mingle face to face.

The tweetup in question here is scheduled for next week in New York. The venue is the Blue Fin 2nd Floor Bar on Broadway at 47th St. And the organizers are the Lithium folks attending the dCRM conference. One notable guest will be Forrester's Dr. Natalie.

So if you're in the neighborhood, you're cordially invited to drop by and meet some of the people behind @LithiumTech and the #scrm hashtag.
