Lithium Celebrates the Holidays in Style
Capping off a year of impressive growth – both in the number of new employees and new communities – Lithium had a lot to celebrate about at our annual holiday at Cesar, a trendy new tapas bar in nearby Oakland.

Cesar's seriously delicious Tequila Sunrise.
The evening started with CEO Lyle Fong's introduction and a slide show history of Lithium from our first office, which consisted of 400 square feet of borrowed office space, to the newest member to the Lithium team, Eric, who joined the Atlanta team just the day before.

Lyle gave a quick recap of a remarkable year.
Then we got down to the serious business of celebrating.

We ate, we drank, and then we ate some more.
The Emeryville group was joined by Lithium folks from all over North America, including Joe Cothrel, our VP of Community Management, moderators, and developers from our Atlanta office.

Happy moderators, plus 1.
We were also happy to see the entire Ayres clan, some of whom don't actually work for Lithium yet.

The Ayres clan.
Our party committee, headed by Mei, worked hard to make it a memorable evening.

Party organizer Mei gives one of our moderators instructions to enjoy the festivities.
Developing software, hosting communities, and playing ping pong aren't our only talents.

...and Gilbert.
We also excel at playing games, like this home grown version of Bingo, where each square requires the signature of a different member of the Lithium community.

Hint: The answer to "Galloped through the Galapagos" is Lynne.
And the winner is...

...Mikey, hands down.
As a memento of the evening, we received – what else? – T-shirts. We're a software company, after all, and that's how software companies celebrate.

And speaking of celebrating, we did.

Happy Lithium party goers.
As the evening wound down, it was time to reflect on how far we've come in the last year alone and to look forward.

Here's to another good year.
