When we first started talking about blogging, I thought I'd write about the interesting stuff that happens when you try to put the right words on a page. The back and forth between resident wordies, the weird experiments (only I could see them, thank heavens), the late-night attempts to find words that conveyed just the right nuances without the slightest possibility of being misunderstood. Stuff like that.
The law of best laid plans had other ideas. As we moved closer to web-speed in our development group, I found myself writing more about the new things that community members could expect to see than about my job (fascinating as it is to me).
Hence the name change. This blog isn't about words any more. Or at least not only about words. It's also about images, avatars, smut filters, new ways to view Idea Exchanges, and more. It's kind of like release notes, but without the boring riveting list of resolved issues.
Grab some popcorn and settle back in your seats. The show is about to begin.
