[Webcast Q&A 3-3-10] Combining a virtual component with a traditional conference [deeper engagement with virtual events and community]

[ Edited ]

Attendee 15:

Is there a way to combine a virtual component with a traditional conference? For example, Lithium has a conference coming up -- Lithium Network Conference (LiNC) 2010. Will there be a virtual component to that conference?

Attendee 16:

Have you partnered with an actual Tradeshow? Perhaps as a pre-show and post show forum?

Please use plain text.

Great idea, Attendee 15. We're looking into ways for people who cannot attend the live event to benefit from it. I don't think we'll try to do a simultaneous virtual event a la our SCRM Virtual Summit. To be honest, we'd all collapse from overwork. But there are certainly things we can do "virtualize" what's going on at the conference: recording, tweeting, etc.

And, of course, we'll have a Lithosphere component as well.
